May 11 and 12: Greenbelt Green Man Festival at Roosevelt Center 

The 10 Year Anniversary of the Greenbelt Forest Preserve was highlighted by this year's festival, sponsored by the CHEARS, whose theme was "Celebrating Forests".  Activities at our booth included and interactive historical timelime of the history of the The Greenbelt Forest Preserve, kids' crafts and games. Our celebratory raffle featured a grand prize summer membership to the Greenbelt CSA (community supported agriculture) by Calvert Farms.

The booth had many handmade items for sale, including one of a kind hiking sticks, Robin Hood hats, Keep it Wild and Wooded bracelets and plaques. T-shirts featuring original artwork by Bill, one of the original Woods Warriors, were also for sale.
